This guide describes what the Jefferson Digital Commons is and how Jefferson students, staff, and faculty can use it.

What is the Jefferson Digital Commons?

The Jefferson Digital Commons, or JDC, is Jefferson's open access institutional repository. It is a free service of the Academic Commons that helps you share your scholarly work with the world. All Jefferson faculty, staff, researchers, and students are able to contribute.

As of July 2024, the Jefferson Digital Commons repository has:

  • 25,700+ items and over 8 million downloads
  • been used by over 70,400 institutions from more than 236 countries and territories
