Interlibrary Loan - EZBorrow and ILLiad

A guide to requesting books and articles from other libraries

EZBorrow How-To

  1. Search for the book's title, author, subject etc, and click the Request button for the book you want.
  2. Use the drop-down to select Thomas Jefferson University.
  3. Log in with your Campus Key and choose your campus as pick up location.

If you can't get a book through EZBorrow, or if you need any other kind of material, you can request it through ILLiad.

EZBorrow Overview

We partner with many regional libraries through a program called EZBorrow. EZBorrow lets you borrow books from partner institutions in Pennsylvania and neighboring states (for example, Penn, Rutgers, NYU).

  • EZBorrow is only for book requests. No journal articles (use ILLiad for these).
  • EZBorrow is faster than ILLiad for print books. EZBorrow books usually arrive in 3-5 business days.
  • The loan period for books is set by the lending library; the due date will be shown on a label on the front of the book.
  • No renewals allowed.
  • All notifications of book status will come to your Jefferson email.
