The Paul J. Gutman Library is the library for the Thomas Jefferson University, East Falls Campus, including associated online programs such as the iMBA. To read more about the library organization, visit our About page.
The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of key library services for students. These services are provided to support student success in a higher education environment. They are necessary for students to successfully complete research assignments, conduct original research, access course materials and technology, find study spaces, and more.
The services offered by academic libraries differ than those offered by other types of libraries such as elementary school and high school libraries, public libraries, and special libraries. They also differ from services offered by academic libraries located outside of the United States. You may find this guide useful if you are not familiar with services offered by academic libraries in the United States. If you are a first year undergraduate student, new graduate student, transfer student, international student, or first generation student, this is where you can learn about what the Gutman Library has to offer.
