Open Access Publishing

As of January 1st, we have started our Wiley agreement for 2025 and our quota for articles has renewed.

Corresponding authors affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University may publish open access at no charge to the author. Authors must use their "@jefferson.edu" email address. 

To qualify:

• Articles must either be accepted for publication in a hybrid journal or be submitted to an open-access journal on or after January 1st, 2023 
• Articles must be published in one of the eligible journals listed below
• Eligible article types include research and review articles, such as (but not limited to) original articles, case studies, reviews, and short communications.   

This offer applies until the university's article cap (84 articles per year) is reached. After that, authors will be responsible for paying their own APC charges, or, if publishing in a fully open-access journal, they may apply to Jefferson's Open Access Publishing Fund.
