Springer-Palgrave-Adis

The Libraries have entered into a Transformative Agreement with SpringerNature publishing that waives open access article processing charges for Springer’s hybrid journals published under the Springer, Palgrave, and Adis imprints. Thomas Jefferson University’s participation is through the Libraries' membership in the Lyrasis consortium and applies to manuscripts submitted in calendar years 2024-2026.

Author Workflow Guides

The author workflow for this agreement is automated. Only corresponding authors from Jefferson are eligible. Once an article is accepted for publication, the corresponding Jefferson author will need to verify one of three data elements for the automated workflow to recognize them as being eligible for the article processing fee waiver: 

  • Select “Thomas Jefferson University “ from a drop-down list of participating institutions
  • Use Jefferson email address: authors must use their “@jefferson.edu” or “@students.jefferson.edu” email address
  • Be on campus:  authors can complete article identification form while on the Jefferson network, either onsite or on the Center City or East Falls VPNs.
